Kepler Partners LLP (“Kepler”), the FCA-regulated specialist in asset management and funds marketing, has rebranded its asset management division under the new name Tycho Capital (“Tycho”). The new identity reflects the business’s evolution as a research-led alternatives specialist and marks a significant milestone in its continued growth.

A new name for an evolved identity

The decision to rebrand reflects the significant growth and increasing breadth of Kepler’s asset management business. As the firm’s capabilities have expanded, a distinct brand identity has been created to capture its dual expertise in Investment Solutions and Investment Consulting, along with a developing focus from Kepler’s heritage in liquid hedge funds towards broader alternative investments. 

The name Tycho Capital is inspired by the 16th-century astronomer Tycho Brahe, who worked closely with Johannes Kepler to advance understanding of the solar system. The name captures the firm’s commitment to research and innovation – navigating complexity with clarity and insight, just as Brahe and Kepler did in their era – whilst retaining a link to the company’s heritage.

Defined areas of specialism

Tycho Capital is a research-led alternatives investment firm with deep expertise in sourcing, structuring, launching, and managing alternative strategies. With a foundation in liquid hedge fund investing, Tycho has grown to support clients across a broad spectrum of alternative asset classes. Its core business lines span two capabilities:

• - Investment Solutions, which partners with high-calibre alternative asset managers to deliver their strategies to global investors via institutional platforms such as the Tycho ICAV.
• - Investment Consulting, which advises leading wealth managers, family offices, and private banks on building and managing portfolios of alternative investments.
